Dedication
My Dedication To The Chevy Monte Carlo.
Back in may sometime, I bit in to something hard and damaged a filling in my tooth. Dentist said it was leaking, but he could fix it. The scheduler at the office told me it would be 3 weeks before they could get me back in.
Almost 3 weeks later, Debbie's mom passes away. The funeral is scheduled for the very same day I'm suppose to be setting in the chair at my dentists. SO....... I called and explained I was on my way to Michigan. That I needed to re-schedule the appointment. The scheduler there says, "We can't get you in till july,14th." Or more then a month away. I explained at that time I was having problems with the tooth. They were kind enough to call Wal-Mart in Michigan and phone in a prescription for me. That pretty much took care of the pain I was in.
Monday june, 21st I'm at work. I'm irritated cause of my job and my tooth really started acting up. By 7pm my face was very swollen and I was in pain. I called Wal-Mart and got the first prescription refilled. Then called my dentist who said to come in so they could look at my tooth. On thursday.........
Thursday get's here. I go to the dentist. "RJ, this isn't looking good." he said.
I'm thinking (weren't you the one who told me you could fix this?)
The dentist wants to keep me. Wants me to get a root canal the very next day. ORRRRRRRR...... last friday. I said I'd been waiting TWO YEARS to attend the Monte Carlo Nationals. TWO YEARS!! He gives in. Writes another prescrition and let's me go.
Well. I made the 2010 Monte Carlo Nationals like I wanted.
I may have been under a doctor's care and my face may have been swollen from the infection but I was there.
Is this dedication or what???????????????? LOL

Holy Cow RJ - you seemed fine to me when I saw you at Nats (or were you all doped up on pain meds LOL J/K). I'm sooo glad you made it and that I was able to meet you and Deb!
That totally sucks about the tooth though. Shoot man, if I have an emergency, my dentist makes time to see me - he stays late and comes in on the weekends too.

Wow that's dedication sorry to hear about the pain your in, hopefully you still had a blast at the Nationals, and get your tooth fixed up good as new and with as lil pain as possible....
