While I wasn't a fan of everything he did, I do like most of his work.
The auto industry has lost a great visionary in custom design.




Boyd Leon Coddington (August 28, 1944 - February 27,2008)

I didn't care for the management style shown on American Hot Rod. But I'm wondering how much of that was exaggerated and/or editted for dramatic purposes. Wonder if Chip Foose is going to the memorial service. Or if he'd even be let in.

There was bad blood between Boyd and Chip, more on Boyd's part. Boyd feltChip stabbed him in the back when he quit and started a company that competed directly against Boyd.

I had no idea that guy died. On my b day too. The show was ok, should have put more attention on the actual cars, and not the phony-dramatic stuff.

I think they like to do the drama to keep people into it and they don't want to show how they actually do some of the work because then more people will try to compete with them.

I was thinking and talking with a nother car guy at work today and he hasent even heard about how it happend . Figured i would ask to see if any of yall know
