I have let my wife, select friends and my dad drive my cars (including the Monte). The friends I trust are "car guys" themselves and would not do anything I don't approve of to any of my cars.

Heck, I offered Chibi a chance to drive my Monte when were leaving a restaurant we stopped at during the GM Nationals in Carlisle.

 

Im not selfish with my car either, my dad drives it on ocasion, my mom hates 2 doors so she usually wont drive it. And the only other people that have driven it are 2 very good friends that i trust wont destroy my car.

 

However, Chibi did not want someone else to drive his car

OH, I see how this goes!! Yeah, because you didn't want to adjust the seat!!

No matter your reason, I have NO complaints. Heck I enjoyed getting a joy ride in the car that inspired me to do so much.

 

hahah, it was a long drive back!!! I didn't want to spend it adjusting everything again

 

There is no way i'd rent my car...

I let certain people drive my car, but only people I know well, and know won't abuse my car.

 

I let wifey drive the Deuce on occasion. She is afraid to drive it though.

 

The Monte is nothing to adjust compared to when I had the power seat carriage in my '84 Camaro! UGH! On tap on the adjuster and I spent at least a week fixing it (I am SO glad that I switched those seats for non-power in the Camaro).
