Man that sux justin i remember when my car got broken into over $4000 in damages done to my car for a few hunderd dollars worth of stuff i was about ready to bust some ppl up

 

Sorry to hear about your stuff Justin. Thieves make it so you just can't have nice things anymore. And before anyone tries to turn this into an issue of people stealing stuff because they need money to buy food. 99.9% of the time, it isn't. If it was, they'd just go steal directly from the grocery store. These are people who saw something nice, and decided they want it. Most thieves have convinced themselves that stealing your stuff is a victimless crime. Because in their mind, they get what they want for free. And the insurance company buys you a brand new one to replace the "old" one they stole off of you.

It all comes down to greed, man. They want what you have. And don't want to pay for it. It also works the same way with people looking for drug money. They figure they get the drug money they need, and the insurance company buys you a new stereo. Win-win in their minds.

Thieves will take anything. My fiance left his car unlocked one night in our driveway and someone went into his car and stole a stuffed Woodstock bird (it was sitting in the cup holder) that came from a Wendy's kids meal.

yeah , get a rope ! I can't stand people that steal or just take things that isn't theirs. I had my 85 Cavaleir broke into one time. Tore my console all up just to get my base Alpine model out.

 

liability ins on the saturn..... no replacement unless it comes out of my own pocket,

 

I know that in reality people have deductables, or like Justin, only liability. So replacing stolen stereos and such end up coming out of your pocket anyway. Then as an added slap in the face, the insurance company raises your insurance rates. I was simply saying that thieves convince themselves otherwise. Not that they were correct.
