Yes, I voted, 7:30 yesterday morning, and so did my mom for the very first time. I've voted in every election we've had since I was old enough to vote.

A little information if I may..........

No one. Not one since guy who's been president has ever done 1/2 of what they promised to get elected.

So................. this guy's going to be the first? We'll see.

Well depending what side of the fence you're on, that could be a good thing this time.
Thanks, RJ, for putting it into prespective, LOL.

I'm delighted President Elect Obama won! If old Al Franken, up in Minn., could have grabbed another 6-hundred votes; we'd have had the Democratic Majority. That sure would have been nice.
The condition that the Country, particularly the Economy; is going to hamper President Obama from implementing a good deal of what he'd like to do right away. He comes in and has to right the ship of State before starting his Policies, thanks to George W. Lamebrain!
I voted for him to get us the hell out of the Bush war on terror.
The phony Bush war that helped to Bankrupt the Country before President Obama can begin doing some good.
We're in two wars being fought by Indentured Servicemen getting "Stop-lossed" and National Guardsmen doing two, three or four tours coming home to no job ...
And you're sweating about Gun Laws?
If you want to play with guns; go see an Army or Marine Corp Recruiter!

I havereal issues with his "share the wealth" mentality. As far as guns go, I do have a big stake in that too, without them, I'm out of business - literally.
It'll work out, it always does.
I'll leave it at that, I've already been threatened with banishment from one forum today over a damn joke.

I just pray that Congress has enough sense to not just go with everything Ob has to throw at them. If they vote their concience, vote what they and their public want and feel is right, it'll work out. The war in Afganistan shoulda never happened, and the war in Iraq went bad, but the overthrow of Sodamn H was to be. Rumsfeld and Cheney had that settled 30 YEARS ago. It was and still is all about oil. When we elected oil men in the top 2 offices of the land, what's we expect, them fighting over corn? Jobs? It was ALL about oil, and protecting our "rights". $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ THEIR $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Remember, Bush's are an oil family, and Cheney was CEO of Exxon.

So lets see of big O can get us the heck out of those 2 places without loosing too many more of our young, and billions more dollars of debt. BIG job! Is he up to it?????????????? We need to PRAY for our leaders continuously. Tough decisions need to be made. Our country is on the edge of falling apart. Lives are being lost. Families going hungry and without medical needs taken care of. Housing! The ECONOMY! JOBS!

I'm thankful the election is over.

BTW, I voted 3rd party, showing displeasure of the 2 candidates, cuz voting for McCain was a wasted vote. I voted Libertarian, but I didn't know who I was going to vote for until I had the ballot in front of me. a NO BRAINER! The VP candidate running with Barr is/was Wayne A. Root. I'm Wayne B. Root!

No relation. Just a clear sign of who to vote for, for the reason I stated above. IMHO.
