I'm sorry, but hte facts are just not on your side for this. If you want to rebuke his economic plan, foreign policy, gun control, experience, how the media has given him so much leniency, and how he just didn't take stands on issues in the US Senate, then you've got a case. But you can't try to take him down on the basis of his faith or his citizenship because you're just making yourself out to be ignorant since hte facts are all stacked against you.

i do agree with you that the media has been leaniant on Obama, case and point is the LA times tape they won't release. I just got a mailing on about his gun control plans, haven't read it all the way through yet but, he wants to put a huge tax on ammunition, so you can have a gun but case buy ammo for it.

I've stayed out of this thread, until now. This election has 2 REALLY poor choices. Usually on an election like this, I will vote third party to show my displeasure with the 2 main candidates. I might still do that. I like McCain, but he's old. Palin just plain scares me. Obama scares me even more. My wife will vote for Obama, and tries HARD to convince me he is the best. Maybe he is. But to me there just too many issues he supports, like gun control, and too many supporters behind him I am opposed to concerning one world governments. NAFTA was IMHO a SERIOUS mistake, and voting for Obama will head us down that road again. We need to take care of our own FIRST. We are not doing that.
I do not believe that McCain will last for full terms, and then Palin will be president. She's just psycho, IMO. But so be it. So am I.

Thanks for posting these, this is good stuff. I wish someone could could really tell us what the tax deal is with Obama, is it 200,000 or 250,000 I think Biden said 150,000 the other day, then someone was telling me that at some point he said they can't rule out raising taxes for anyone making over 42,000. I think I agree that no one should get there taxes increased.

Likewise, making this election a referendum on Bush's policies is also a distraction. McCain has been a thorn in Bush's side since losing to him in the primaries in 2000. Would I have preferred a Romney or a Hunter? Most definitely. Obama has zero experience, deplores the Constitution and has an elitist view of middle America. His judicial appointments alone will be with us long after he has served his one and only term as president.
To those who can't resist throwing the lame "racist" remark I pose a challenge. Look up the word and apply it to this election. It doesn't fit. Webster has other words that do however but the left has become masters of redefining a words meaning and by and large, the citizens, many educated in government schools are too stupid to see the difference.
Finally, consider this. If Michael Steele or other black conservatives ran for president, I would pull the lever with no problem. That's because I vote based on factors other then skin color. I wonder how many black voters will pull the lever on Tuesday based solely on it? Now who's the racist.
