I have smoked a bunch of times. although i think legal pot would not be as good and cost more than what we have now. i sometimes find it funny when stoners want it legal. i dont think they understand. really the big help will be govermental. think about it, its illegal now and do you have a problem getting it whenever you want? so its not like it really help out the pot heads.

It's just a plant.......and it's all about politics, being pc, government, and control.....alcohol is a drug which I think causes more deaths.....government has a piece of it......cigarettes kill........goverment has a piece of it......so why not pot? I'm just sayin'.

I understand your point, but I look at it this way;
I think `if it were legal then the government could tax
it and the benefits would be for all the people.
I think the `smoke would be cheaper & cleaner.
It would stop the illegal sellers from gaining capital,
and not paying taxes.
If it were legal, we would not be putting users in
jail at taxpayer's expense.
You would think our government would've learned
from the prohibition of alcohol in the 20's & 3o's.

Our government has proven that they can not stop
the sales of weed, so why not legalize it and
help pay off our massive national debt

I'm in the military msyelf, so there is a 100% no tolerance policy on any and all illegal drugs, pot being the most common case. Not to mention my job, air traffic control requires a very alert mind with the ability to concentrate and formulate abstract thoughts, something that comes very hard when you are "high" from pot. So my answer is no, legalize it for medical purposes only.

You uh... Think alcohol kills more, or causes more deaths?? Not trying to be rude with that question, but that certaily is a fact. Has anyone EVER HEARD of a death comming from smoking some weed? Or even a pot related death at all? Not on this end here. The only think wrong with pot, is that in some people such as myself, is causes SEVERE panic attacts, I mean, I have passed out from them before. And over time, those panic attacts can turn into heart complications, disease, attacks, and failure. Now this wasnt always the case, I used to smoke up like a GD chimney, never sober, no kidding! I was nothing but high all the dam time (not proud of that one bit, really started letting things slip away. Thank god I developed these problems. The only thing wrong with weed is the crime thats associated with it (being illegal). And possibly drug deals gone bad. Other than that, no cancer, no illnesses, no problems at all exept (again, legality issues). Yeah, okay, Ill be done with this rant. Happy hemping everyone

Also, if anyone is interested in finding out why it is illegal. Watch the family guy episode where brian sings the song "everything is better with a bag of weed". Its not actually in the song itself, but there is somwhere in the episode where brian explains why its illegal. And yes, its the absolute truth, what he says.
The first person to come back and post what he says on why it was criminalized wins a big 'ol "HELL YEAH TO YOU!!!!" Good luck. I would really like somone to find that though, it would give some cool insite as to the stupidity of this country's laws.
