Default Possible Replacement

A couple weeks ago I bought an '11 Camaro SS. A few days later a clown blew a stop sign and totaled it. I've been looking around and may have found a replacement for it. It's a '10 SS with a few more miles on it (17,000 vs 8,000) and red instead of white, but after speaking with the dealership and negotiating a price I'll be test driving it Sunday. If I get it I already have someone lined up to buy the Monte for $6500. Hopefully all goes well.

Good luck. Can you afford to keep both cars, like using the Monte as a DD?

Hi Amy, I could keep the Monte but I only have 1 off street parking stall. I can't bring myself to kicking either car 'to the curb' and parking it on a public street - too much of a chance for theft, vandalism, side-swipe, etc. I know the Monte will be going to a good home though; I have known the guy for years and he's been bugging me to sell it to him for a couple years now. Besides, I'll still get to see it on a daily basis - he works at the same repair facility I do.

Thats a good looking camaro but to bad you have to sell the monte though. At least like you said the next guy will take good care of it.

Mike:
How long did you have the white Camaro? with only 8000 miles I guess not to long?

So, I'm guessing you don't have a garage to store either vehicle when your driving one or the other?

I live on a corner lot...
and we have 3 vehicles... But I don't necessarily have a driveway to speak of... So, I have to park one in the backyard.. one in the garage and one on the easement next to the street...
As you can see by this pic exactly how much driveway I don't have...(Approach, sidewalk.Garage)

Currently for the winter..
Lizzys sierra is parked in the backyard patio..covered and has the battery tender hooked up to it.

My Monte gets the Garage!

So that leaves our Silverado Z-71 4x4 that were currently driving for the winter months.. Which actually its mostly for the Mrs to get back and forth from work... shopping etc..should the weather get out of control.. At least I know she wont be getting stuck etc.

Since you have been a member since 2011...
Once you part with the Monte Carlo... I hope you will continue to contribute and support your MCF Family...

I do know your advice and time has been a valuable contribution to your MCF Family!
