Once I get one I will take a pic of my Monte in it. I was looking at one sized for trucks so had more room on the sides to open doors. A few of the links you showed were for only 15ft long, too small, lol. And yes, the sun here in GA is awful, also said bird droppings and tree stuff.

Thanks for the bump, missed this topic the first time around. We saw a cheap one in a tractor supply co flyer, but I've heard bad stories of collapses, so if we get one I think we'll get this one below. 15 guage box steel frame, and looks good and sturdy.

Hi Mod `David,
I find it sad that a city can prevent you from having a portable garage or car port.. I can understand regulations for control to make sure that people comply & don't build eye sores to the neighborhood.

That's why I think I love living on a boat (if you don't like your neighbor's, you just pull anchor & sail or motor away....LOL.

`David, you should run for city Mayor or City Ordinance Chief Why `Not, everyone here would vote 4 U
Thanks Space!
I have considered it... But I do have some acquaintance's in the city offices... City council as well as the treasury... However, Since I already have a 1 garage in my backyard.. along with a 10ft by 60ft slab that I park my 30ft Camper on..Even though I live on a dbl corner lot... They say that 30% of your back yard...actually has to be backyard... (grass etc) Unfortunately I barely meet that standard since I also park my Silverado back there as well.
I guess you could already say I'm pushing the city limits...
The good part....
Is that the neighbors no longer have a "Say so" over what I have parked in my yard... My backyard looks a bit crowded.... So, The only resolve I would have is to move to a place with a lot more acreage... But with the price of home values VS trying to sell mine...I'd probably lose my azz...
I guess you could say.... Im living in a catch 22...

But its nice to hear/know my friends/family here on the MCF will back me up!

There isnt alot of lower priced ones to choose from but if you can spend thousands there seems to be a good selection. I want one I can get around in. I think I may be saving up for the truck size one.

Hey Lisa, take a look at Carolina car ports, I think that's the option we will go eventually. Should probably last a lot longer than something covered in a tarp.

Thanks! Unfortunately I need something not permanent. I dont own the house I live in and they wont allow me to put up a permanent structure so I need something I can remove completely if we move.
