My brother in law is the same way. I was going to get him a socket set for Christmas about 3 years ago and then I remembered a box of kittens has more mechanical apptitude than him.
Other than that he is a pretty smart guy.

nah heres how you get them kinda people just tell them to put spring water in their radiator cuz its cheaper than antifreeze...i mean comon when have you ever seen a spring freeze, we almost had some one ready to actually do it
