I'm glad the website was willing to work with you, and that it worked out.

When ever possible, if I post pictures of someone else's car I give them credit in my post. Like when I posted pictures of Cam Hanlon's 2004 Monte a few times.

Exactly...which is why I said it's not 100% foolproof. Disabling right click also helps, but can be worked around the same way with the print screen command. A lot of graphic programs will also allow you to select all or a portion of the screen and copy it. In fact, Win7 comes with what they call 'snipping tool' that does the same thing. Even flash isn't immune to it. There's only one way I have found that prevents anyone from lifting your pictures, and that is to put a giant watermark right across the center of it. The problem with that is it also detracts from the picture.

True... For ascetics you can at least make it sort of blend. For example, I stole this picture of yours, but I made the watermark more blended with the car instead of just big black letters. Also, I turned it so it follows the angle of the car in the picture. Still takes away from the car, but it also gets the job done and doesn't hurt the picture AS much. (still looks bad though).

Actually if you look at your original I did tweak it a bit, too. Of course, though, if you're good with PhotoShop and have some free time you could remove it seeing as its basic. The ONLY completely fool proof way is, you're right, to destroy the picture.

That goes back to mine, i just did a quick edit for an example. If you were to watermark your picture the best plan is ot take your time and make it look good like you did.

A great example of putting watermarks in your pictures is to take a look at google street view.

Or TMZ. They do the transparent watermark that covers the entire picture.

A lot of sites mark there copyrighted images so people cant steal them. I think if you just put a title on the pic like the one in your sig Tadd. If it was just a little higher up they couldnt crop it out and it would look pretty good.
