While we're on the subject of driving bugs around, everytime I leave in the morning, I take about 50 of these little guys with me.
I have no idea where they came from and I have never seen them in the past untill about two weeks ago. They are showing up all over my yard, my house, cars, and trees. Every morning there are about 200-300 of them on the sides of the house, and even more everywhere else.. Anyone ever seen these??

And BTW, they are a type of moth that the wings spread out as much as any other moth. The wings also have the same pattern as the body.

 

That's cool Richard! I never had and interesting anything land on my car - I don't know if that's a good or bad thing LOL!

 

I did a google search for moths, butterflies, and flying insects. I found a number of moths and butterflies that have the same colors, but not the same design as your picture. I'm wondering what they are now.
