Default Oxygen Sensor Cost

Yuck. One of my coworkers just got quoted for a new oxygen sensor with labor at $265 for her Honda Selana (sp?). Told her that Bank 2 is right after the can and she said the part is $36. Just need to pull the sensor and put it in and she knows how to do this.

She is very happy saving $229 in labor - that dealership is known to charge high for small jobs.

I thought it was pretty nutz myself. Might include diagnostics or something else.... might just be because it is an import.

Yeah, this would be the reason I learned to do these things myself. Way too much costs in labor especially when I have the tools.
