does anyone know what the size of the o2 sensor bung is on a 2001 ss...i can get under there but i can get a decent measurement without tearing into things and i would rather not tear it apart until i have everything i need for the ubend delete...thanx everyone

 

man it will be a TON of trouble under that car for you man.. better off to keep looking for an exhaust shop willing to do it.

 

why will it b a ton of trouble? i have to disconnect the flange, take the hanger off, cut off the pipe, unscrew the o2 sensorand pull the piece out removal done...

then i take the flanged pipe, weld a 12 in piece of stainless on, drill a hole for whateversize bung on and angle and weld in the bung...then i measure for the exact length of pipe i need and cut it off, finally u take a special exhaust clamp (not sure exactly what they are called but u butt the 2 pipes up to each other, put a little sealant on the clamp and tighten the thing and it makes a seal) and u clamp the pipe up, reconnect the hanger and reconnect the flange(using a rubber gasket)

may be a half days work but i did it myself and saved money...

 

I believe its a 18mm x 1.5 or 1.25.
