I posted on Facebook how ironic it is that right as Trump's campaign is ended, Obama's 2012 campaign will probably be won due to this. Good luck in 2016, Republicans.

The thing is, killing him is only an election point and a feel good moment for America... killing Osama doesn't get those people in the twin towers, pentagon, or air planes back. It doesn't get us our troops back. Now we have to find the next piece of this war on terror puzzle....

Im sure as soon as the media hype over this wears away we will see no difference in the happenings over seas, if anything it will get worse as extremists will be quite angry over the death of Osama.

I am very excited and happy this scum is dead. He is responsible for the twin towers as well as many more murders. Killing him is a good thing. I have no doubt that this is real, and I didn't think the President was taking, credit but was giving it to the soldiers/cia that was responsible and taking credit on behalf of Americans. Of course there will be followers who will take the place of bid laden, but cutting the head off the snake kills the snake even if another one takes its place. This will have no bearing on my vote, but I consider it a great day to be an American.

Obama made this his top priority in 2008 during elections, there is so much that goes on behind the scenes for these operations that none of us will never know. I find it extremely disrespectful when people go against the President and say that he just signs papers and says "ok" to what are more than likely extremely dangerous missions. I would love to see some of the people in this country who think that they can make better decisions than the President whether he or she is Republican or Democrat. Some people just make me sick and have to go as low as saying Obama is taking too much credit, just remember we aren't fighting each other here. Al Queda is the enemy, we need to unite for once instead of being so negative of our leadership which does us no good. Seriously.

Im sorry you feel my remarks are "low" and that I make you sick. Thats my opinion and I am entitled to it no matter how offended you get.

What makes me sick is that this will be used as just another election tool. Using peoples losses and emotions to better ones own situation makes me sick. Yes Obama made it his top priority, but so did all the troops in the middle east who were out there searching for him. The last administration made it their top priority and if Osama hadnt been killed Im sure the next administration would have too. Yes the president and the rest of the big wigs in washington were working hard to get Osama but the credit will be absorbed by those who will use it to better themselves and will never truly go to those who deserved it.

"I Can Hear You, The Rest Of The World Can Hear You, And The People Who Knocked These Buildings Down Will Hear All Of Us Soon!!!"

They should hang his body from the freedom tower once, it's complete...Killing Him May not be a big deal for some, but I can assure you for NYers and people directly affected by the 9/11 attacks it is a major accomplishment over 10 years in the making!!!

Just wish we could have captured him... hang up in a bird cage looking thing and put him up on display. That might incite someone to perform a similar attack though. He should have at least been captured though, and trialed in NY.

Does anyone kinda think it's fishy that they threw him in the ocean less then 24 hours after they got him? & idk about all you guys but I think it's a bit bizarre that he was announced dead on May 1...the same day in 1945 that Hitler was announced dead
