What makes me sick is that this will be used as just another election tool. Using peoples losses and emotions to better ones own situation makes me sick. Yes Obama made it his top priority, but so did all the troops in the middle east who were out there searching for him. The last administration made it their top priority and if Osama hadnt been killed Im sure the next administration would have too. Yes the president and the rest of the big wigs in washington were working hard to get Osama but the credit will be absorbed by those who will use it to better themselves and will never truly go to those who deserved it.

I didn't mean to single you out persay but I was reading some ridiculous posts on Facebook about our President and it just sort of put me over the edge. We spend more time complaining (myself included) about when things go wrong than when rejoicing when things go right. And I agree 110% with you about how those who truly did the work for this over the past decade will never get the credit they deserve and it it really is too bad. I just wish for once people could join together in this country like the days of old

Nova I agree completely with you. I get tired of the conspiracy theorist who refuse to believe anything, because a democrat or republican said it. I also agree with you in what you said earlier. I did not feel for once the president was taking credit. He is the commander and chief of the military and the spokes person. You will never see the special ops guys faces as they are now on another mission and we all know they are the true heroes. What makes this country great though is that we can all disagree and we still move forward and work together. Good Job, Navy Seals, Good Job Intelligence Community, Good Job president for keeping this a focus, and good job citizens for celebrating the death of a horrible person.

I felt that burying him at sea so soon was a bad idea also. But CNN is reporting that the reason for the quick burial is because of Muslim rules. They claim that Muslim rules state the body must be buried within 24 hours. So on one hand, the military was following muslim rules to make muslim's happy. But on the other hand, doing that will only fuel new conspiracy theories.

Brittany, your dad is right. The military could've gotten Osama back in the 90's under President Clinton. But at the time he was in an area with children around him. President Clinton decided he didn't want to risk killing any children along with Osama. Who knows. Maybe if Clinton did get him in the 90's, 9/11 might never have happened.

You guys can argue about who's taking too much credit, and if President Obama deliberately cut off Donald Trump or not. I don't care. Bin Laden is gone. That's all that matters right now. Donald Trump is spoiled, publicity seeking blow-hard.

What I really want to say is THANK YOU! to all the military personelle who helped get that SOB Bin Laden. The U.S. military did one hell of a great job. Thank You!

Just my opinion. You don't have to agree with me if you don't want.

Well we can all agree on one thing that's for sure; Republican or Democrat.

Also what I meant about the good old days where really the past 100 years or longer, when people in this country united for causes and stood strongly together. Even since 9/11 we have noticed this to deteriorate in as little as 10 years, everyone can remember what happened after that day and how it didn't matter your political beliefs, the color of your skin or where you worked, etc. We all joined as one, and as we stray from this our country becomes more vulnerable. Hope this clarifies what I am stressing.

I agree Taz, this is a joyful event for the entire world. By bearing him at sea, there is also no place for people to go and make him a martyr.
