As for increasing oil production, why should they? At $104 per barrel today, compared to about a year ago when it was $50-$60 per barrel. They're making money hand over fist. And the threat about getting oil elsewhere?

There's an email going around t-i-t-led: This is a House, NOT A Hotel.
It's suppose to be the house of some shiek.

If it's true........... now you see what your $3.20/gal is buying.

R.J.,
I think your photo's of excess/greed has made it's point.
It would be easier pay'in $4 a gallon `if the profit's were used for good.

Will we all have to account for our actions on `Earth ?
It's sad to see not just in the Middle East, but in all countries ofour World,
the wasted spending
of money, especially when there are so many children/people starving : ( [X(]
Where there are many with no health care @ all : (
Could you imagine what a great world we could live/enjoy `if
we really helped each other ?
Only love, can cure the `World ? Maybe, just maybe we will get a leader
to lead us in the right direction for `all.
I shall pray : )
`Amen

That's very noble Space. You have wisdom beyond your years.

Too bad men many times older then you can't grasp this concept of helping others.

R.J.,
Thank you for your post, & your praise, but I must
give credit to my mentor/teacher/my grandfather
for teaching me by the actions of his words.
It wasn't a easy task for him 4-Sure : )
He gave `up a lot for me.
I am Thankful...!
My grandfather was always strict, but fair.
I learned that words alone, are just words.
It's one's actions ofones words that determine the
true character of the person.
I strive to be like my mentor, my grandfather.
He taught me there are consequences for all my `acts.
Good `acts = Good Consequences
Bad `acts = Bad Consequences.
I've stumbled many times, but I am learning from my falls.
We live, & hopefully we `learn.
Thanks again, `Space

Do you want to know why gas prices are where they are today? Ask Dick Cheney who was in the meetings he held at the beginning of Bush's first term where they set Bush's energy policy. Oh, that's right, he refuses to tell who was there or what was discussed. Even fought it all the way to the Supreme Court to keep it secret and won - imagine that, a Republican Court - and still refuses to even discuss it. Can you believe they won't tell the American people what one of their policies are??????The only person known to attend was Ken Lay of Enron, and that's because someone saw him there. Lay just happened to be the largest individual contributor to ALL of Bush's campaigns from first term Governor to President.

Did anyone catch the interview with Bush during his Mid East trip last month? The reporter asked him about healthcare and he very stongly stated it was an issue we need to deal with and deal with it quickly. The next question was if he was going to ask the Saudi king to lower oil prices and he hung his head and meekly said, well, I guess I could mention it...

Why should Bush do anything? The US military is the largest user of fuel in the world, Bush's family is business partners with the Saudi royal family, Cheney is still making millions (if not billions) off of Haliburton and ExxonMobil keeps posting record profits ($40BILLION in 07). I'd love to see how much money Bush and Cheney's blind trusts are making off oil prices and the 12 billion dollar per monthwar.

"Beware the military/industrial complex." D. Eisenhower in his farewell speech.

I fear his warning has gone unheeded.

Oh, I'm sorry...one more thing - I'm from Texas, my family has been here since Before it was Texas, and Bush is NOT a Texan. He's a Conneticut sissyboy cheerleader whose father came here to make oil money.

Does anyone else find it interesting that Bush, Sr. was the ambassador to China for years, and now we are borrowing BILLIONS from China? Think he might have made some business connections while he was there? Oh, what a tangled web we weave...
