I'm glad you are ok. We had some hellish weather down here in North East IL - lots of snow, they ran out of salt here so there is a coating of thick ice under the snow pack and underneath that tons of pot holes.

Update: I changed body shops to the OTHER K & D body shop in Three Rivers, cause they are a direct repair facility for AAA, which means no claims adjuster, and ALL the repair work is guaranteed for LIFE, and after the problems I had with the last paint job and all the swirl marks, I figured I'd prefer the backing from AAA on this repair. Also, I should get it back about 1 week earlier, as it is now a priority repair. It is all ready in the shop and will start work Tuesday. I got a new GP from Enterprise till I get it back.
Side note: The guy that wrote it up is a gadget freak like me, and couldn't help but noticing all the extras I've added. He has a quite new Silverado with LOTS of gadgets, including something I've never seen: Dual alternators, side by side, WAY KEWL! He also has the standard dual optima yellow tops, but the dual alternators was sweet! Powermaster supplied the second one, along with the custom mounting bracket. Cost him about $1,000 by the time it was in. He has lots of lights, a snow plow, and 2 electric air compressors. SWEET TRUCK!

Sorry to hear/see this Wayne, glad you are OK.

That truck sounds awesome, I always wondered why more heavy duty vehicles didn't have 2 alternators, or even some modded cars. I used to go through a heavy duty alternator about every 6 to 9 months with my last car with a thumpin' stereo in it.

I'm hoping to take some pics of his truck. It is VERY unique, and has GOBS of trick stuff, such as pressurized nerf bars (air tanks) with an air guage sticking out the top! Of course, the standard hi-lift jack mounted to the inside of the bed, etc.
