I'll admit, I don't understand everything you've got going on there, but I'll say it looks very impressive!
I definitely know what you mean about cat vs wifi. Our first house had 2x cat + phone + cable wired to every single room (plus a handful of exterior camera runs) that all came together in a cabinet in the master closet. We ran virtually nothing off of wifi except our phones. It was great having the option to easily plug stuff in and have full speed everywhere which was nice being it was almost 4k sq ft.
I do miss it at our current house as its about 40 years older and doesn't have any of that stuff. The house only has a single coax run for the router haphazardly run across the roof and down the exterior wall. We had to upgrade to a mesh setup to get rid of some extreme low spots. I still struggle with exterior wifi camera positioning (presumably due to the exterior wall construction).

I have experience with the NanoHD and the U6 Pro and U6 Enterprise. A friend had his access point in his family room (which was an addition) and had crappy wireless to a bedroom on the opposite part of the house. Swapped him for a NanoHD and great signal all around. I would not buy a NanoHD today because it is old and the U6 Pro is a good replacement. Somewhere Ubiquiti also has stuff to help you draw up a "heat map" for wireless. The one "gotcha" with these, most of the time you get used to configuring a router or access point accessing a web page built into the device. These you need a "controller". I am running the free controller software on one of the devices in my basement. That is where the device pulls its configuration and stores metrics it gathers (such as near by APs it detects and such).
Once you see these, you might start seeing them at businesses around you (I have, heck I even saw one on the ceiling in a room in a movie lol). There are also a variety of tech YouTube videos talking about these. I know I have seen some about outdoor use.

Not sure how to read this lol. Do you work from Spectrum OR is this after you retire you are leaving for an area with a different provider?
I assume you work for Spectrum. If so, what is it you do for them? If it is anything with network management, can you convince them to bump up the slow upload speeds lol!

You want the high splits that started last year and will roll out the next 3 years. Docsis 4 is also a thing, but its not talked about as much as high splits. Both will allow for symmetrical speeds. Rural expansion (partially funded by the government) is practically all fiber, I mean, who would spend money to build new systems out of coax?
In three years I'll need to stock techs working with legacy coax, high splits and fiber to the home. Good time to retire!
