yep the one i seen looked more like the one 04 has on his post. but was red with the coverd head lights of the past

MAN wish i was back in thestates right now . LOL
I wuld almost forgo the new Harley in the spring for this one . ALMOST!!! but might think of getting rid of a wife and kids for it LOL

Either way, if they stick with the concepts I've seen so far I'll be standing in line for mine. Of course I would still keep my Monte...

I'm not a baller, I'd have to trade in the Monte, but would do it happily!!

that is the one i saw I love that one the best i think . but it is due to coverd head lights i think they make it look tuffer. then the other ones do. but dont get me wrong i would not sneez and any of them as a insentive to stay with G.M. but if they keep going down the road they are now im afraid they might see the end sooner then we all want them to.,

I am with your thoughts on GM.. If/when they bring back the Camaro they better have a nice drive train lineup. Ford hit the mark with the rustang in the marketing world.

GM should ave had a winner with the GTO but failed with the marketing side as well as a better drive train line up IMO.

2006 Chevy Impala & Monte Carlo SS Models See Return of Small-block
LOS ANGELES (Jan. 5, 2005) – Chevrolet unveiled the 2006 Impala and Monte Carlo at the 2005 Greater Los Angeles Auto Show. The Impala SS and Monte Carlo SS models receive the new LS4 5.3L small-block V-8 with Displacement On Demand technology to regulate between eight-cylinder and four-cylinder operation – providing up to 12 percent improved fuel economy in certain light-load driving conditions. The 5.3L V-8 produces 303 horsepower (226 kw) and 323 lb.-ft. (438 Nm) of torque.

303 HP is nothing to sneeze at. Wonder what kind of cool mods will come out for it... The potential is there for a 400HP beast....

Last year the GTO was 300 hp I believe this is the same engine, this year it is 400hp in the goat
