i think we should have a chat section on here for people so that they dont always have to post or they can have a convo with people i am a meber of aa diferent site it has a chat and workes out very well from what i have saw and used

It's been discussed before and isn't a good idea. Our forum is driven by advertisers. Using chat rooms reduces thread and activity as the chats aren't visible to everyone.

Less forum activity = less advertiser interest

Plus if you have an issue and answer it in a chat it's not there for others to see, which is kind of the point to a forum.

 

I suspected with this forum being as well established as it is this had been brought up before. Excellent points you make Mike....

Agree I think its not a good idea either. I like searching for info in threads and with "chat" that would be impossible if it was answered in a chat. Also for me there is times I can't get on for a week or so do to work and with threads I can go back and see everything but if it was "chatted" I would never see it...

 

Good idea, but thats why we have the daily blog and the facebook group, thats where all the nonsense is

 

We also pretty much reply to most threads the same day it is posted, so anyone that needs fast information usually gets it
