As others have mentioned, the Facebook page is the best place for quick messages and chat..

You are more likely to get a helpful response by posting questions here on the forum. Whereas, you never know what you'll get by posting in the Facebook Group.

If you have something that is genuinely Monte Carlo related, post it here and get the site some additional forum activity, along with some helpful and positive feedback.

If you just want to talk to Monte Carlo Owners/Drivers about anything and don't mind a little stupidity now and then, join the Facebook group

 

Internet Brands (the owners of MCF) doesn't put a chatbox on any of their sites. Aside from the addition bandwidth needed for a chatbox. The fact is, chatboxes often times kill forums. Because everyone uses the chatbox, and hardly ever post. Making the forum useless for information unless people are online.

A good friend of mine had his own site that included a chatbox. And it died out for exactly the reason I mentioned.

Between the daily blog and the Facebook group, the chatbox idea is pretty well covered.
