New Blackberry 9790

I don't know what network you are on but I'm on Verizon and the Verizon version is not 4G. That was one of the biggest factors in my decision as my phone was really old and on it's last legs and I just couldn't wait 6 months or more on a 4G Blackberry. Wasn't gonna pay that kind of money for a 3G phone (which also would have eliminated the iPhone even if it wasn't inferior)

Oh yea I just noticed you're in Canada. I'm guessing Bell is a CDMA network then if you're not getting 4G (I'm pretty certain none of the CDMA blackberries are 4G). I THINK the GSM blackberries are all 4G now. Not completely certain on that but I think I'm correct.

I don't know about speeds on the GSM 4G networks but with my new HTC I'm pulling down 13-16Mbps during peak demand hours and over 40Mbps in the middle of the night. This is just unreal, especially for it being my first 4G experience.

Those are incredible speeds, I believe that full 4G starts 42-43Mbps... That is lightning fast...... I've read that in Japan they are fooling around with 7G as we speak... Wow...
