Default Need suspension advice

well when i got my new tires about a month ago i had a major fiasco with the 4 wheel alignment. 6 tries at town fair tire 1 at firestone that was better but the wheel is not straight again. Worst bit is it was straight when it came in. no one could figure it out (off center left). the guy at firestone said there was so much play in the steering that it was hard to get it straight. my back end is getting quite sagged as i know i need new struts. (getting done in the spring). is there anyother probable causes i know my right rear strut is completely shot and the left side is now going. by the way the plastidipped resonator isnt holding up well

What About your hubs, Tie Rods, and all your Suspension Bushings? Have you had them check your Frame rail for bends or Cracks? Your Struts being bad should cause excessive Tire ware, but not your alignment to be off! I Think?

You could also check all the sway bar bushings!
Just be sure to put new Strut Mounts when you put in the new struts!
I learned the hard way... It will definitely give the back end a "lift"...

the rear sway bar is super tight i couldnt get it to budge. Paul said everything looked in perfect order after some other screwball mechanic told townfair to send me over there to have the front left strut mount replaced. Paul said it could be an issue but should not prevent them from getting it correctly into alignment.

ANY portion of the suspension/steering that is worn/bent can cause an alignment problem. If the strut mount was worn it may be in position 'A' when the alignment is done. Once the car hits the road it could shift to position 'B' which would cause the alignment to be off. Since it is the left mount that was worn and your steering wheel sits off center to the left I would suspect the mount as being (at least part of) the problem.

Paul said it didn't look bad enough to cause it and the guy that said it was a problem never saw my car. I also noticed when i break hard it goes back toward center. maybe i should just change all 4 struts and mounts come the spring?
