Default Need help on a 99 suspension.

Its been awhile since Ive posted. Got a few questions about the front suspension/steering. When I make a normal turn, left or right, I can feel a noticeable side to side wobble in the front. I believe to be the tie-rods. Or possibly a lower ball-joint. Also has a noticeable vibration in general. Would either of these cause a rougher ride? Also does the brace that mounts from the strut tower to the core support actually serve a purpose?

A wobble in the front end could be caused by any of the things you mentioned, also you could add the wheel hubs to the list. The best thing to do is jack it up and do an inspection of all the parts to see if anything is badly worn or damaged. The braces you are referring to are there to add structure to the front end and are nothing to do with the suspension.

If the hub/bearings are bad, would that assembly wiggle when the front end is in the air?

If you can wiggle the wheel with it jacked up then you either have a tie rod problem or a wheel bearing problem.
