Wow Butch You are just about the same age as me? This thing didn't change much from 1949 thru 1952 But it appears to be a 1952 Chevrolet 4 dr sedan with the custom delux from the factory font window visor. Good one.

67 Mercury Cougar had a few friends that had this car. they were nice but didn't race very well. There is a fellow in my town that has Two of these as every day drivers painted a Competition Orange color.

I owned a 1984 Mercury Cougar Silver 4 dr sedan had a V-6 in it and didn't have enough power to get out of its own way. The gas mileage was terrible may 14 to 15 mpg. Pretty Car but that's all it was.
