I know its a Mercury Cougar. About a '68?

Wow Butch You are just about the same age as me? This thing didn't change much from 1949 thru 1952 But it appears to be a 1952 Chevrolet 4 dr sedan with the custom delux from the factory font window visor. Good one.

 

67 Mercury Cougar had a few friends that had this car. they were nice but didn't race very well. There is a fellow in my town that has Two of these as every day drivers painted a Competition Orange color.

I owned a 1984 Mercury Cougar Silver 4 dr sedan had a V-6 in it and didn't have enough power to get out of its own way. The gas mileage was terrible may 14 to 15 mpg. Pretty Car but that's all it was.

Off the Subject slightly I have a few photo's of the 8 cars done up like yours that I have collected over the years if you would like I can post them for you. let me know?

 

I took this photo is western Oklahoma last year at a Car show they had some real nice rides there.
