Apache is good, but the year is off yet.
The Apache is correct, this particular pickup truck I drove to College and it was my first job truck.

The History lessson and a short story to follow.
This is a 1958 Chevy Pickup Truck, the Chrome Emblem on the side will tell you it is it has the Shark fin on top that's the 58, the 59 like the Red one just has a bullet shape. the 57 was an elongated 3D oval. 58 was the first year for dual headlights. This Style pick up was the most sought after because of the back window, This is known as the Custom Cab version. This truck has a 283 V8 2 barrel carb, with a 3 speed on the Column, fun to drive west coast mirrors too. I drove this to College every day in Monterey, CA. One day I pulled in and a fellow Parked next to me with a 1964 Aston Martin DB5 in Silver Gray, (whoa the is the James Bond Car) it was a left hand drive version like we have here.
This one is the Stepside Box this was the long box version and a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood would fit in the box. The other was the Short box version most sought after for the customizing.
Now for the other versions there was the Cameo some of you may have seen this one at that Lanbrecht Auction in Pierce,NE there was one that sold for I am thinking I heard $88K It had less than 2 miles on it.
Then there was the Fleetside box style. I have added a photo for it as well.
The difference between the Custom and the standard Cab versions was in the Glass in the rear and the Chrome featured on the cab. The custom also featured a Chrome front end as in the picture of the 2 tone white/Green this one is a 1958 note the emblem on the side and also the front emblem on the hood was larger and this was the grip to open the Hood. This is the History lesson on the 1958 Chevrolet Apache Custom Cab and the 3 Versions.
