My second car (a trip in the way back machine) 1987, the high school days.
Okay, so I was looking through a box and found some old pictures and there was my second car, a 1974 Monte Carlo. I mentioned the car in one of my first post here on forum and thought some day I should post some pictures so here they are...
Purchased in 1987 a Triple GREEN 1974 Chevy Monte Carlo to replace my 1972 Buick Skylark that was totaled when while sitting at a red light I was rear-ended by a Oldmoboat.
I quickly replaced the steel wheels and hub caps with some Keystones.
Then my Uncle David and I fixed the rust and stripped the top and prepared the car for paint.
After we primered the repairs we sealed them with white paint until I could have the entire car painted, this is how it looked when I returned to High School for my Jr year.
Not too long after was able to get the car painted. I drove this car all through High School. Lots of good times, sold the car shortly after going away to college. Some days I wish I had the car back and those simpler days...
Here is how it finally looked when done.
If I can find more pictures of it I will post them up.
Here is one of me in front of the car going to work at Dillards my Sr year of HS. It was a little windy, that is not a Flock of Seaguls hair cut, I hated having my picture taken, can you tell?

Yes I ran, I couldn't get away fast enough."
LOL
Cool Monte.
My second car was a (real) '57 BelAir 2-door Sedan. All black, with red/black interior. 235 6 cylinder with powerglide under the hood. That 6 popper purred like a kitty.
