very happy with that mileage after getting an everage of 10-12 in my Dodges and my 4.3 Chevy was getting about 14 so pretty happy with it even if it is the small v8

 

I heard that. I know all about the Dodges, I had 2, a 96 and a 97. My dad and I currently share a '97 Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.2. It's strictly a work truck seeing no more than 2000 miles per year, mainly because of the poor fuel mileage.

 

Yeah they were horrible I had a 99 with the 5.2 and a 01 with the 5.9 and both were horrible on gas, beautiful trucks loved them but the gas mileage was horrible.
