My fiancee bought a 2007 Mustang GT Premium today with only 6,815 miles on it. It was traded in at a Toyota dealership about three hours away from us. She first saw it on CL and fell in love with it. Its Vista Blue with the white racing stripes on the hood, roof, and trunk. Car has the 4.6L with the 5 speed manual tranny and is fully loaded. It still looks and smells new with not a scratch on it. Its a very sharp car and even though I'm not a Ford guy, I would own it. She gave $19,664 for it which is a pretty decent price. I think ever since I bought my Dale Jr. monte, she has been talking about getting a Mustang, which is her favorite car. I guess I'm kind of jealous because I really wanted a V-8 car but decided a V-6 car would be better for the gas, hence the Monte.
Please don't mention any of this around my g/f Debbie. She wants a Stang bad. But unless she wins the lotto she ain't owning one any time soon.

Yeah. I'd never hear the end of how her Stang beat my Chevy.

Congratz on the car. I am not a ford guy but I do like the look of the new mustangs. As for gas milage...If I fill up and hit the highway and set the cruise I have seen 26 mpg but I have not had any long road trips. About an hour away is all my car has seen so far but I know that in town the mpg drops like a lead ballon. Our cars are highway cars and love the highway for mpg.

Well, my trip on Friday was all interstate and my mileage was not that good. Granted I had already used 1/4 of a tank and most of that was 30 mile one way trips to work on mostly highway with not that many stops. The other 1/2 tank I used was all interstate.

i am jellus because i have an 01 gt but i thought the new mustangs came with the 6 speed in them? but it could be in the shelby or the ford mustang 500. when she pays it off the first mod to do is to get the six speed in it it will help it out alot thats what i did to mine the six speed manual bolts pu to the same bell housing and you dont have to worrie about adjusting the speedo niether unless you change the rear end gear.

I doubt she will mod it at all. She is not into that at all. Though she did add a 4" lift to her 2003 F350 Superduty crewcab 4x4.
