Between the my years of 19 to 21, I was a cab driver for a Jipsy can company in the Bronx called Target. The cars they used were Ford Farmonts. A mid sized economy car with not a lot of power. I got enough tickets in that car to cost me $637.50 and the loss of my license for 5 years.
Although the True sports cars will get tickets, but it is as the articles suggest, the lower to mild sports cars, that new, young drivers can afford, are the cars most likely to be at the top of the list of cars most ticketed. Honestly it's not the cars, but the drivers. I know, I was one of them!
