Default Most miles driven on a tank or most gas put in at a fill up.

I have had my MC since Sept, it is a 02 SS with the 3800 engine, and I have put a little over 7000 miles on it, but that includes the 1200+ mile trip the get her home, I purchased it in Arizona, but I live in Missouri.

Today we went from St Louis to Bloomington Il and then back, put 395.7 miles on from one tank, filled it up and it took 14.629 gallons. Before that the most I ever put in was 13.7 Gallons. The Low fuel light came on when it said I 63 miles of fuel left and I was still about 40 miles from home, we went for it and stopped at the station by home, I wonder how much farther we could have gone...

467.7 miles! That's going back and forth to college across the center of North Carolina, it took 15 gallons that night making 31.1 miles per gallon, and I was impressed myself!!

The technique is to just leave redlights slowly, do not allow that RPM gauge to get over about 2,000 rpm's until you're going about 65-70 mph in overdrive. Get used to everyone blowing your doors off when you leave red lights! I very rarelly get under about 29 going back and forth to college by driving like this!

I'm not 100% sure on how many miles were on the tank or what my MPG number was at this fill in, but my very last visit to the station, Mr. Burns needed 15.35 gallons... He was yelling at me.

Wow, I really push it...LOL. My 17.5 gallon tank has taken 18.something gallons more than once. And pretty much everytime I fill up I get AT LEAST 17 gallons in it.

Normally I get 400-450 mile per tank. A few times I've broke 500 miles (I think the most was like 525 miles). I've only gotten it that far on a tank on road trips where I used cruise control and kept it at 70 or less the entire time. Its only happend like 2-3 times since I bought the car though.

If I ever see double digits in the gallons when I'm filling up I think that's a lot!!!

I had to go online to check, I figured I had a 15 Gal tank since I put in 14.xxx and the needle was well below the last red line next to "E" but I also have a 17 Gal tank, I could have gone another 50+ miles easily. Huh. I guess they make is show empty well before empty to keep people from really running out of gas, but I would rather have an accurate guage. It is like setting you clock ahead five minutes, if you know it is fast you just leave later... Oh well I don't usually let mine get much below a quarter, but I guess that mean I usually don't let it get much below a half

my normal fill is 13.5gal ( hate getting below 1/4) and the trip meters sits in the 430 to 440 miles. I'm all hyway no stops to milwaukee and back 120 each day. I've had her down to the chimes once. In the spring I'll swap to a SC so I suppose i can kiss that goodby
