Lmao... we figured that the pcv valve was bad causing oil to rise through the dipstick tube and someone thought it would keep the crap out of the tube and it made its way on down to the pan... or someone got mad at their employer and stuffed it in the drain plug hole.

But it is in fact made of cotton.
