Here's a topic that we've been talking about, and I thought I would bring up a new thread to see if we could make this happen. We own 4 vehicles, one being LadyTs 07 Solstice GXP, a GM Kappa car. The Michigan Kappa Club, which we are members of, ran 36 Kappa cars (Solstices and Skys) down Woodward on the Thursday evening of the cruise. 36 of 'em, 2 x 2!

It got me thinking, the Warren meet was REAL close to Woodward, what if we got together and did the same thing with Montes, getting a group together and running 2 x 2 down Woodward. Group them by years maybe. Signature cars, Pace cars, Drag cars, and just plain nice Montes! It's a 3 hour trip for us, but we would be bring both the Solstice and the Intimidator SS, each running with our own group, and heading back late.

We had over 20 Montes at the July meet in Warren. That's a good start!
Anyone else interested in doing this? I would like to see 40-50 Montes!

It may be something we could do in 2009? There's a ton of stuff happening that weekend usually in the greater Dayton, OH area. But maybe next year we could make different plans had hit the Dream Cruise instead?

 

The 3rd or 4th weekend in August, Thursday evening is when regular cars like ours are allowed to cruise.
