Default Monte Carlo Nationals June 2012

Thought I'd start a thread. The National Monte Carlo Owners Association is having their annual car show in Tennesse this June 29th - July 1st.

You need to be a member of the club to enter your car (belive it is $25 bucks to join). No resrictions on your Monte, if it's a Monte you can show it... period.

Here is the link:

The show is in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn. I figure it's going to fill fast so I will reserve a room probably today. From what I hear there is stuff to do for the whole family. Us MCF members could maybe all setup next to each other and show a strong PR for the MCF site!

If youve been at one of these before post a review here.

I am soo stoked about this show! I even put in for vaction for this at work already. Sorry I missed last year's

I'm not going. I had a blast last year, but that's because I got to hang out with Jason, Chris, and Jaws.

This show is for 4th Gen and below. I hate to say it, but it felt like no one really cares about our newer cars unless they own one. I'm going to head over to the GM Nationals this year since I live in PA.

If you LIVE NEAR THIS, you should definitely go. I'm just not going to take the trip.

I have no plans on hitting either of those shows this year. I'm going to try to do the All Chryslers At Carlisle but I am not sure I'll get there either. I have a lot of home renovation to do and I need to get up to Massachusetts to visit my grandmother while I still have her. I have not seen her in about five years. She is well into her ninety s and you never know how much longer she will be around. She is in good health and she still drives. Not a Monte though. LOL.

Know EXACTLY what you mean. My mom is 95 next year and lives in Tucson Az. Plan to go see her in April or May. My mom used to drive a Monte after she totaled it she quit driving. I hope you get to see you mom. Moms are important 4-sure.

I did the Monte Nats in PA this year. It was a fun time, but Tennessee for the Monte Nats, not for me. This year, I am hoping to hit Carlisle PA for the GM Nats (and hopefully I will be with a small pack of other cars, time will tell).

Another observation Chibi did not mention, the Monte Nats divided the '00-'03 Montes in one group and the '04-'07 Montes in another group. I never inquired or looked up why (and I still don't know why). I just found that odd.

Too far for me - just waiting till it comes back at a closer location. Don't want to drive more than 5hrs.
