do you mean like less advertising, more flashy animations and such?

 

It wouldn't hurtto see something new for a change, but dont change it so the features and navigation are different.

Yes, definitely, the photo gallery photo has been showing up as a red x for ages, and on the left hand column, the 3rd smiley down isn't a smiley anymore, just a red x.[&:]

well if they start and account ill throw money in it to do some stuff.... i think we should make it a lil more attractive and flashy but still keep the easy navigating on it... maybe call more sponsors? idk

 

well we have several users on dial up.... and i don't want to make the site so slow as to discourage them from posting because it would take forever for pages to come up. i remember it took awhile for me when i was on dial up to do anything. i don't want this site to get very flashy.

 

The smilies and photo gallery are showing okay for me.
The only photo galleries that don't show any pics on my computer, are the ones with no pics in them.

Like Duane just said, there are quite a few members here on dial-up, so the simpler the better.

 

They updated another forum I frequent and it was a killer on dial up. I think they finally fixed that, don't have dial up now so not sure, but I think it's still slower than the old one.
You have to be careful when adding flash to a site if you want to keep dial-uppers around.
