They updated another forum I frequent and it was a killer on dial up. I think they finally fixed that, don't have dial up now so not sure, but I think it's still slower than the old one.
You have to be careful when adding flash to a site if you want to keep dial-uppers around.

Like Duane just said, there are quite a few members here on dial-up, so the simpler the better.
And cheaper.
You go for updates on the web site, the server usually up's the price for running your web site.
