I hope you all had a great weekend!

I have a crunched and busy week ahead of me, so I hope this week starts off well for all of us! And I hope it ends Wednesday for all of us!

 

At work now everyone have a great day. I have to start cleaning the bottom side of the Monte soon takes a while for the World of Wheels in January you know how dirty my car is

Cool, drizzly start to the day.

Got the new battery installed in my bike on Saturday. So cold mornings now won't mean I have to take the car anymore; the bike should start regardless of the temp.

I'm really glad the bike is back in business since my old car is now having issues. It wouldn't start on Friday afternoon as I was trying to head home from work. It eventually came back to life, but I think something in the ignition circuit may be trying to short-circuit. On the way home I could definitely smell something funky, sort of like a burning smell, but not quite. I thought I noticed a funny smell that morning but thought it may have just been my imagination. I guess not... No time over the weekend to figure out what's wrong. Without good lighting I probably won’t get the chance to dig into the dash / steering column until this weekend. It’s too dark already by the time I get home from work.

Spent Sunday with the Theater group from my son's high school. We drove down to Birmingham Southern Univ. for a performance of 'Spring Awakening'. Awesome performance! The show "... is a rock musical adaptation of the controversial 1892 German play of the same title by Frank Wedekind. Set in late-19th century Germany, it concerns teenagers who are discovering the inner and outer tumult of sexuality. The original play was banned in Germany for a while due to its portrayal of abortion, homosexuality, rape, child abuse and suicide. In the musical, alternative rock is employed as part of the folk-infused rock score..." Definitely not a show everyone would like due to the controversial topics and frank nature in which they are presented. I thought it was really cool. The music was great.
