Happy Monte Carlo Monday everyone!

Whoa, long time no see Devin! Nice to see you on here. Congratulations on your GM Nationals win! Looks like there was a lot of awards going around between GM Nationals and Monte Nationals.

I was at Monte Carlo Nationals this weekend and got Class Winner (04-07 SS). Great time as always and I think there was roughly 115 Montes this year. Rained Friday but Saturday and Sunday were sunny. Next year is in the same spot again (Piqua, Ohio - June 22-24) so we better see some of you there! Booked my room for next year before we even left.

For those who saw me this weekend, I took the sun burn challenge and I believe I get the award for "biggest fool" lol. Normally my sun burns are mild/don't bother me. But man, backs of my legs, specifically behind my knees, OUCH! Glad I have today off as my burns improve to be less of a problem.

Nice pics Matt of the Monte Nats. I would have gone to that event, but it conflicted with my annual Carlisle plans. Carlisle wins. I am certain it was a good time in Piqua! Did they announce next year's location? Any of the crew here on MCF.com show like Mel or Tadd?

 

Thanks Jason and, yes, next year is back in Piqua, Ohio at the same location as 2016 and this year. Great time this year! No Mel or Tadd and there's not anyone else on here that I can think of who was there. I believe Michigan Monte Carlo Club had 10 members there.

Yeah, most likely. I don't know if GM Nationals has their dates set yet but Monte Nationals is June 22-24, 2018.
