Can't you put a stop payment on the check and then write another one? Only the property manager can cash the check if I'm not mistaken?.....

That totally sucks Drew!
Well I think the interview went well. I won't know anything for a week or so - don't know how many people are being interviewed. The job was only posted on one specific site so I'm hoping not too many. If I do get a call back I will have to go back in for a computer skills test which I am confident that I will pass with flying colors. This job is exactly what I have been looking for - nice sized company with full benefits oh and very close to home!

Drew, any way you can pay them in person and make them give you a receipt from now on? I'd be screaming insisting on that, not that it might do any good.

Hope you get it Amy. Sounds like the custodian job at my kids' elementary school that I will be interviewing for-- 6.5 miles from the house and good benefits. Well, they tell me the benefits are good, anyway.
