Lucky for me my wife is a great cook and I'm alright too. We're not gourmet chef's or anything but can put together delicious meals. She has a pork roast in the oven right now.

I am the master of the Meatloaf and Spaghetti around here. Wife(Lisa) does most everything else. Momma and sisters taught me well. I can cook a few things. And let me tell you, I can make a mean Frozen Pizza!

The weather pattern being the way it is we usually don't see snow, or if we do it's just a light dusting. If we get more than an inch it seems to make the news. The outlying areas and the coast get it every year and much worse, but I guess it isn't as newsworthy.
Mike I used to think you guys only got lots of rain. My son moved to your neck of the woods a year ago last December per order of Uncle Sam. He is stationed at one of the Naval bases up there. His first day there it snowed had his cup of coffee that was in his car froze. I told him now he has ice coffee and he didn't have to pay extra for it. He said "not funny dad". I love him just the same. He gets a taste of Vermont in Seattle. He missed the snow when we moved to Florida. I don't think he is missing it any more.

Meatloaf? Jerry that sounds really good. I haven't had a good meatloaf in forever. Although I will admit, the meatloaf in the DFAC at Camp Shelby in October wasn't too shabby. Not great, but not terrible either.

Gregg, I'm guessing he's at the base right outside of Everett? That's about 50 miles north of JBLM but the weather is a fair amount different from what I've heard. I went to JBLM for two weeks a couple years ago in late May and saw the sun 3 times in 2 weeks. There were only two days where it didn't rain at all. I was miserable. Throw in the fact that I was working construction at the time and waking up at 5 central time and I wasn't too happy when my body kept waking up at 3am local time.
