I too would love a GNX someday but at 80000 I don't think that will ever happen. Maybe I can at least get a regular Grand National someday.

and to think i know where there's 2 differant GNX's laying dead in people's driveways....

honestly, i'm not big on the idea. i think it'd be cooler to build an 80's regal into a modernized GNX tribute, run a newer supercharged 3.8 like what the monte's & GTP's have, but on the traditional RWD platform, with eather a 6 speed auto or 6 speed stick. better brakes & suspension, and a better quality interior, with leather seats & doorpanels ( i've seen leather 6th gen seats in a G body before and they look great!), stuff like that. but keep the original soul of the car intact.

you should do your monte the color of the 87 ss, the lamp black that came with the ss. Now that would be unique

 

Modern GNX? Yeah I don't know. This is almost just like when GM had that Super Sport happy time back in the mid 2000's when they were sticking SS badges on basically every model because they could. The 80's G-body cars are sweet though.
