I'm guessing someone loosened the lug nuts on all four wheels?

I'd be seriously pissed if someone did that to me!

probably just didnt torque his rims after putting on his track tires and just barley had them on

That's my guess too.
YEARS ago, I bought a '72 Merc' Montego, and the next day we went to Cedar Point in it. We got about half way there and had to stop because of the vibration. The F' dealer we stopped at had to replace a wheel & studs because the dealer forgot to torque the lug nuts on the car. 2 hrs later we were on our way again.
Tightening lug nuts is a MUST do thing.
