David, that is an outstanding improvement!!! I'm sure it makes you thrilled as heck to have that rust removed!! Hopefully it stays away!!

Well, I did not get as much done as I had hoped, but progress none the less. Keeping it brief (something I have trouble doing):
- Got the PCM relearn on my new PCM to finally finish!! I found a small error in my process, but all is good!
- During the relearn, took the time to cut up scrap plywood from re-doing my bathroom floor (remodeling the bathroom is in mid-progress, but I took today off to knock out various items). We now have a shelf in the coat closet in the basement and I have a shelf under my work bench in the garage!
- Replaced the rear sway links on the Monte (sure enough, one ball joint on both links was shot, the MOOGs I put in look nice and "beefy"). Super easy swap!!
- Put the summer wheels on the Monte.
- Took Monte for a quick drive (about 10-20 minutes) first drive of this year. Re-parked and covered.
- Moved the wife's Mustang to where I can begin working on summer-prepping it. I hoped to finish summer-prepping it, but moving it was all I did (I had to move the Monte before the Stang could be re-positioned). Summer prep is a traditional oil change but this year, the Stang also gets a trans fluid/filter change like the Monte got a couple weeks ago.

What did not get done:
- A front wheel bearing on the Monte
- Possibly start the condenser replacement on the Monte
- Summer prep the Mustang

But that is certainly not all the Monte projects, but it's the most critical before the GM Nats. I also have a driver information center prepped to go in and working on an L26 UIM to go in

Jason:
Sounds like you have had one heck of a busy day!
Good to hear you got your Monte back up and running... as well as your other projects!

Yes it certainly does make me happy to have it disappear...I just hope it lasts also..
Only time will tell!
