Looks like the weather here is going to be good enuff for me to get my stepson back over here to finish feathering in the rust repair and wheeling it out!

Lookn forward to The May events as well!... However, As nice as the Monte Looks inside and out... I dont want to even get in it or drive it!
Yes it was super foggy here also last night...Im feeling a little under weather also with this weather flipping...

Keeping it in the "Clean" room is key!
Unfortunately the first time we put color on my Monte...we had some contamination.. Ewwww...(Since he did it outdoors)
Had to re sand it all down and start over...But it looks ok now...(Theres 1 little spot) thats visible.. But it looks a whole lot better than the rust!
Lookn forward to seeing it at the Meet and Greet!

Im still envious of you getting to drive is new Camaro!
As im sure you may know... or not...
I still cant find that dang Intake duct!
Im hopeing the day turns out nice in your neck of the woods to get caught up on your Monte.

Unfortunately my mrs works at a casino...
we have abby normal weekends.(her days off are Mondays and Tuesdays)
So today and tomorrow is our weekend.
I let you know wednesday how our weekend was....

I think someone needs to contact corporate and make them aware...Of whats really going on at that store!
I cant believe, they stickn you with all that crapola!!!
That stuff is definately not your responsibility...
Do they think your Management? Or are they merely takeing advantage of you and your experience????

Well, I am one of the managers, but my daily duties (because I close the store) are always done. Its just the two others helping run this store don't do sh*t. I am going to be calling higher up about this tomorrow...I just can't take this anymore. I gave them a nice warning note two weeks ago and I see no change. Its worse than before..
Recently new management took over the Advance auto parts around the corner from me... There also friggn idiots! and I no longer do business with them...
Fortunately for me, I have friends,(Neighbors) that work at the Local Oreilys... evryone there is friendly and cheerful...pretty much on a first name basis with all the employees..(Except the newbies) and even the Manager! Shes yes that right I said she... Is also very user friendly and knows her stuff! The fellas all have great respect for her as she does also for them...My neighbor across the street also works for there warehouse...
i now will not go to any other Auto Parts in our Neighborhood!
I hope you get things squared away Jen,
Maybe, They will promote you to a better position and kinda make it your own and run it properly!
They should have been all along...You definately sound like the right person for the Job at Hand!!!!

Even though like you said, isnt the direction you wanna go...
But, It may also help you out financially... Does it come with a raise?

excuse me while I leave a bit of a rant here in the blog...MCF is one of the few places I can talk about this stuff without getting my butt fired..
So this morning I was abruptly woken up by my other manager saying he is 'sick' and needs me to open the store. Also my other coworker is sick too. So 2 people called out...this is my first time opening in like...4 months. The store manager is all the way in New Jersey (it would be nice if he told me...)
My other manager who called out sounded perfectly fine, was perfectly fine yesterday. same with my other coworker. But no, they get a little stuffy nose and I'm the one stuck taking care of everything. So I'm doing the normal morning tasks..I have a list on the managers computer of things to do and decided to check out the planograms that need to be printed. Printing the planos is something your supposed to do for the managers 'opening tasks'
Ok, so far I've printed 20-25 planograms & still have another 10 more to go. A whole butt-load of little ones and so far 6 MASSIVE planos (which include the entire tool wall, calipers are being reset, spark plugs are changing..) Majority of these are over a month old. Some still from February. The store is a mess...Truck is in 2 days and we still have left over from last week. The weekly 'matrix' which is what the store manager does(its a store wide scan of all 'outs' on the shelf. takes a whole day to do) is not done because he is off from work for the 3rd weekend & monday in a row.
Ever since the store managers have been switched this store just..sucks. We are stuck in such a deep hole its crazy....Everything was running so well!!!!
top it all off I may be doing a open to close. no food, no money. I'm so hungry...
