Hey Space ! Yeah the 'ole '70 C-10 350 was running good till I got 10 gallon of New gas.
Might be some water in there !! ?? I may drain it & get some gas at another station ! LOL! I took fuel filter completely out, I checked plug wires Cap, etc. again.

Seemed to be more electrical - like the Coil shot craps. I put the coil in my '68 Biscayne & it seemed fine - so I swapped them back. I'm gonna try to rotate the distributor a lil' & start again - once the battery is back up! Crazy.

good afternoon everyone, I have a couple days off from work, today and Monday(for a DR appt) nothing much really going on for me today.

Mike(chibi) or anyone else with an answer, I still have my old calipers and I was wondering, should I sell them or just hang on to them? If I hang on to them, how should I store them? Any suggstions?

Hi Mark,
Is your 350 injected ? or does it have a carb ?
I know I've had problems with gas that is old `if I did not treat it with stabalizers.

Below is my research links from Googles on same/similar prob's...I hope it helps U troubleshoot your prob. Good Luck 4-Sure.....p.s. I am not a `tech or expert on this subject 4-Sure, but I sure will search & ask others for advise/solutions...Hopefully one of our member's will have a better idea about your problem...If they don't see it here, make a post about your problem....Peace/out

Great to read that U have a few days `Off. Sure hope that you can relax & have some `fun..

If your calipers are still good (?) I would keep them & just put them in a box...if not, I would toss them unless U have a lot of storage & you think the next owner will want them...

What R U going 2 do this weekend...Hope U have good/better weather...Whatever U `do ~> EnJoy your time `off...

p.s. thanks again 4 start'in our `day....U did GOOD & I'm sure that our Teacher would give U a A++++ : )

got my hids in yesterday. used them for the first time last night, I think i need to adjust them up a little but other than that they look amazing

Afternoon all, not alot going on here, just been stairing at my comp screen all day... doing returns galore! i'm soooo excited it's FRIDAY!!!!! on an hour and 45 left!, then it's onto the weekend, i'm going to try to finish up the saty this weekend all i have left to do is put the sway bar end link in....

got some good news today, our friend is bringing her child to our daycare laidy so that means we get a break! $25 off a week! so extra $100 a month!

Chris i'd say keep them, but maybe sell them recoup some of the cost of the new ones, i'm sure other members are out there looking for some to paint

Thanks Space! Yeah the ole' girl ('70 C-10) has a 1970 Vette L-48 350/300hp with 4bbl Quadrajet Carb... in there now. Has the original "Points" distributor.
Real Old School! No computer ! Best part. 334,000 miles ( 3rd vehicle it's been in since it came outta the Vette.)

I'm gonna try to put a new External Voltage Regulator on the Core Support, take the Alternator out & have it tested - then go from there...

afternoon everyone.... just got back from my buddie's, workin on his big deisel ford. finally got a quiet night at work too, got everything done that i fell behind with from having to shovel snow. good way to start the weekend!

justin, scince ya asked yesterday, the monte's nice & clean and covered in snow setting in the yard, waiting for the intake gaskets, or for when my ranger breaks and i need a backup car

the truck is horribly dirty but is running good and will hopefully be getting a new trail F/X toolbox in the next couple of weeks.

and the skylark..... well lately i've just been hording parts for it, lol. trying to decide if i wanna run the ol' 300 CI buick that's in it, swap one of the 350 chevy's my dad's got into it ( got the headers & mounts for that swap from a friend) or sink my currant life's savings into the 425 buick doing a "build". im leaning towards the 350 chevy for now

I am beat, my younger sister is moving into her new to her house and I had to go hang her miniblinds, got 12 of them done, 3 to go tomorrow and probably have to help move a little.
