Buenos Dias Y'all! I'm going back to the car to try to have it running by Sunday. I haven't done much to it since I messed up my back on Tuesday but I'm hoping, after some fabrication, to have it all done by Sunday. Hey Dave, sorry I didn't get back to you but my internet has been spotty since it was installed. When are you coming by Lawton again? I'm finally all moved in, but not organize yet, lol!

 

It is cloudy and rainy this morning at the beach, but clearing up nicely.

So what's left to do on the car? The really big stuff, re-installing the engine / trans, is done, right?

I don't have my next trip to Lawton scheduled yet. If I can get on BG Matthews calendar, I'll be back out next month. As the head Air & Missile Defense guy at Ft. Sill, I'd like to brief him on my project. If/when that happens, I'll let you know so we can plan to meet up. By then your new/old car will be back on the road, right???

Concerning the Bird flop - or I call it (Dood.) -- Old school LOL! You wanna get that off your finish as soon as possible! That stuff is like acid & will etch you paint! Won't hurt glass that much..
I'm still messin' w/ my 1970 C10 Truck w/350 (points dist.) Got it running for about 4 min last night w/new points, condensor, rotor & cap. After 4 min. it's like it just shut down - then wouldn't restart. Could be the coil?
If you have any ideas... Love to hear 'em!
Will tinker more w/it this weekend - between rain or snow! Yum !

Happy Friday to all! I bit chilly here in the Dakota's but the sun is shining and melting away all the lovely snow we got on Wednesday. Only problem is now I have a filthy car and the flood outlook is looking worse, 45% chance that we will meet our record levels that we set in 2009. Hope Everyone has a great weekend!

`Dave, sorry we couldn't meet `up, but when I got your PM it stated U would be in Palm Bay which is over a hour away from me + we had I-95 closed due to wild fires...We still have major fires 2day in my area : ( It's one of the many things we endure to live in paradise I hope you made it 2 the beach & had some `fun : ) Work'in everyNight doesn't give me to much free time...I hope that changes in my future...I just wish I had the time to `go to the beach (I miss it & Surf'in/fishing etc)
Surfing

Three miles of Atlantic beach offer some of the best surfing on the East Coast. One of the most consistent surf breaks in Florida is Sebastian Inlet's first peak, located next to the north jetty. Another hot surf spot is Monster Hole--located about 1/3 mile off the beach, on the south side of Sebastian Inlet. The contour of the ocean floor rises up and when the surf is big, the waves form long lines, giving a long ride.
