Sucks, its only a 3 year old battery (original), but we got 7 years on the Bonneville's OEM Ac Delco battery...I guess I just got the "good" luck with this battery...So I gotta get that fixed tonight when i get home from work!

Have a good day everyone
I can beat that - My dad had a 2000 Bonneville and replaced the battery about 2 years ago when he sold the car. My fiance took that original battery and put it in his '72 Monte. That thing starts right up with a 9 year old battery!

I was busy at work today. We had a lot of walk ins (which I don't exactly like). Got done with work around 3pm and headed down to my Dad's house to clean.
I just ordered an Covercraft Evolution 4 car cover for my 05 for just $165! Now silver will have protection when it hails next time. We had some wicked storms in Northeast IL but the good thing is they didn't go far enough south (where my dad lives) to get me!

Mike... I would go with an Optima Yellow Top battery. I've heard a lot of good reviews of both, the Yellow Top and the Red Top batteries.

In other news, I finally got my personal plates in the mail today. After 7 weeks of waiting.

Amy...LOL, thats exactly what my mom has..a 2000 Bonneville...We all love it!
9 years is amazing on a stock battery. Damn!

Taz, gotta post pics man!

I got the Monte back up and running...I wanted to get the Optima battery, but A is was almost 200 bucks, and B no where that sold them was open after I got off work. So I ended up getting the store brand battery from Car Quest. 2 year free replacement no questions asked, and 72 month pro-rated replacement, so far it work fine. Very weird though, when I first started my car, the exhaust sounded weird, and it was not running right, then with in a minute, it was back to normal...WEIRD. I'm guessing that with the battery disconnected for the whole day, something in the computer got lost, and it took the car a minute to adjust to normal again....
