So every Wed. I go to my local comic shop to pick up my dosage of the newest comics for the week. Well on the way back home I'm just driving along, no big deal when I see a car up ahead that appears to be going down the highway the wrong way. "Nah, can't be" I think to myself. About a second later it's more like "oh ****, that crazy bastard is coming right at me!" I end up running the Monte off the road to avoid them, no damage done, but they just keep right on past me. They were moving at speed too, probably doing the speed limit (60mph) or so and didn't move an inch to try to avoid me.
I have no idea why they were going the wrong way or what happened after they passed me. Thought about calling the law but figured that someone had already called because it looked as if they had been going the wrong way for a few miles. Thought about stopping but knew there wasn't anything I could do, so I just carried on, thankful I didn't just have a head on collision.

Hi All,
I'm still at work. Been here since 5:30am. Its now 6:15pm, looks like I have a good 2-3 hours left till I can leave. Then I have to be back at 5:30am tomorrow. LONG day.
And to top it off, I now need to steam clean the Monte because my gf left a container of OJ in my car under the seat, and it exploded on my carpeting. So pissed. And its from Friday, so my car smells like rotten oranges. So I hope I can get to that tonight when I get home and get it out of the carpeting.
Otherwise, it was a great day, long, but went well. I interviewed 3 people today, and hired someone starting tomorrow. So thats a plus. Now I just got to get him trained well, and I can go back to working 8 hours instead of 12-15 hours a day! What a relief that i found someone...And I think he is going to be excellent, really good motivated guy. He is going to school, so i'll have to work with his schedule, but thats no problem, I can be flexible...I know where he is coming from, i've been in his shoes.
So bad mixed with good today, but for a day a long as this one that is still going, not horrible. I'm just bummed about having to steam clean my car when I get home, i'm freakin exhausted. Oh well, could be worse.

things are going OK'ish I guess at work, can't complain in this economy, I just hit the 10 year mark this January at work! Michael, I gotta say, I lived somewhere around El camino blvd/road at one time(palo alto/ san lose) I never told you, it was a very long time ago are you familar with that road????
